These units replace the magazine base plate and retain all other factory components. They do not alter the capacity of the magazine and are made from high impact polymer. This high impact polymer withstands drop tests at temperatures from -20F to 350F. Extensions will add 3/4" additional length resulting in better control and comfort. Also, they provide magazine identification via Mag-Track for those that rotate magazine usage.
