The 1851 Navy revolver, produced from 1851 to 1872, was the most famous model of the cap-and-ball era for good reasons. This 6-shot offers perfect balance, precise aim, and functional dependability. The 1861 model contains features from both the original 1851 Navy model and the improved 1860 Army model. This 1861 revolver features a case hardened steel frame, shoulder stock screws, Navy roll-engraved cylinder, oil finish grip, and improved 1860 ratchet style loading lever. A conversion cylinder is available for this model that is a drop-in conversion to smokeless .38LC ammunition.
