The Birdshead Cattleman features the uniquely shaped birdshead grip on a new model forged frame. The popular birdshead grip with its small "belly-gun" look the Birdshead model is a great addition to any collection.

The 1873 Cattleman Black Powder model is produced with similar specs to the popular cartridge Peacemaker. Although the cylinder is for black powder loading, this revolver still has the balanced weight and feel of the cartridge models. The black powder model is fit with all the same Cattleman parts, except a modified hammer to set off caps. It features a case hardened forged steel frame, blued parts, and varnished Navy grip. This model has the cartridge ejector rod assembly instead of a loading lever, which requires the cylinder to be loaded with a loading stand. There is no conversion cylinder available for this model.
