I ordered the magazine and I couldn't believe how quickly it arrived, it was only two days until I had it in my hand. That is customer service to the extreme, especially given the hectic sales pace of all items related to guns and shooting. This level of customer service I find to be utterly remarkable as well as a most pleasant surprise. The magazine itself arrived very well packaged and protected against damage. After filling it with thirty rounds, against quite a bit of spring tension I must say, I removed three rounds leaving it at my normal complement of ninety percent capacity, which is the level at which I have found all my large capacity magazines function most reliably at. I also feel comfortable leaving them 'on the shelf' at that percent of capacity regarding the spring being compressed. I realize that this is a precaution which is no longer required as todays improved spring steels do not suffer the memory effects they once did however, old habits die hard. I have not yet ventured out back to test it, however cycling the slide by hand shows that it works well. This will be a double test, when I do get out, as I have yet to fire the weapon, a Glock 20, as it is also new. I would expect the normal amount of teething problems from the pistol itself and will write back with a review of the magazine and the pistol with the factory ammo I have on hand. As soon as I can find the appropriate powder(s) and purchase a set of 10mm dies, I'll test it with some handloads I am anxious to work up. Sounds like a lot of work but I do love the job, except for the locating of powder and primers. They are harder to find these days than an honest liberal. Reloading is always the best option from a performance standpoint and when you factor in the fact that at today's prices, factory ammo is more expensive than an ex-wife, it is necessary if you want to shoot enough to maintain a proper perspective on life. If I find any problems with the magazine when firing the pistol with both factory and handloads, sufficient to detract a star or two from my five star rating, which is based mostly on customer service and feel for the magazine, I will write back and include some chronograph data for background as ammo performance plays a major role in the functioning of the entire ammo, pistol, magazine system itself.
