I just received it and couldn't wait to install it. WOW what a great feel, well worth the investment! The installation went very smoothly with the exception of one small issue, NOT MI's fault- or anyone else's- it was just a matter of the old loc-tite building up on the threads as I began to tighten the new screw. After removing the screw, cleaning off the old material and trying again, the guard installed perfectly. This is a fine example of quality workmanship and beauty, and really adds to the overall look and function of the Ruger, which is already a great piece to start with. Very happy with my purchase, especially at the best price anywhere I found online!
