This trigger is a good upgrade from the factory Remington trigger. I am using it on a Rem 700 LH action fitted with a heavy barrel chambered in 30-06 for an old school target rifle with Magpul 700L chassis. This trigger is just what I wanted. I have it adjusted to 2.5 pounds and it breaks real cleanly and much lighter than the unaltered factory trigger. I like that I have the option to adjust it lighter if I plan to benchrest shoot this rifle in the future yet have it safe for field use right now. .A good trigger is essential for consistient accuracy.
