This makes my second Scout in .45 cal.-- the first being a flintlock. Both are well balanced and a joy to carry in the crook of your arm while roaming the woods for that elusive Whitetail. The accuracy is outstanding, and off the bench 1 hole 5 shots groups are not uncommon. A lean against a sturdy tree, would make a head shot at 100 yards, would almost assure liver and onions for that evening's dinner, or a clean miss.
Fit and finish couldn't be much better, and I've seen worse in custom guns.
If you get it, and for some reason don't like it-- before they put you in the "home", call me, and I'll but it for my growing collections of Scouts!

I received my Scout three days ago-- my second, I also have the flintlock version.
They are an amazingly great handling, well built and fit, plus extremely accurate right out of the box rifle.
With old eyes (76+) Both these guns will hold one hole, five shot groups at 25 yds. off the bags, and will be well within 2-3/4" at 50 yards. An outstanding buy in my estimation, and a good company to do business with... quick shipping and friendly folks too.
