This 6-shot percussion revolver became very popular with mounted troops and went on to be the issued sidearm for the US Army for many years. The 1860 army steel fluted model features a forged steel frame, shoulder stock cuts and screws, blued parts, round barrel, fixed front blade sight, ratchet style loading lever, full fluted cylinder, steel backstrap and brass triggerguard, and an Army sized walnut grip.
