This Sig Sauer Caliber X-Change Kit for the P226 increases the versatility of your Sig handgun by allowing it to fire a different caliber and/or by significantly changing its top-end configuration to serve a different purpose. Installation can be accomplished in seconds and is as simple as removing the pistol's factory slide assembly and replacing it with the one included in the kit. No special tools, gunsmithing, or frame alterations are required. In addition to being compatible with Sig's full size P226 centerfire variants, this kit may also be used to convert a Sig P226 Classic 22 rimfire pistol into a serious defensive handgun capable of firing a more powerful centerfire cartridge.
