This is Sellier & Bellot's full metal-jacketed bullet consisting of a lead core and a metallic jacket. Due to its rigid design, the bullet makes a smooth bullet hole in the tissue because it does not get deformed when hitting the target. Imported from the Czech Republic, this ammo is in current production and made to military specs. The non-corrosive, boxer-primed brass case is reloadable. Simply put, this is some of the best and most accurate ammo on the market today at a great price, and it is excellent for home defense, practice, recreational shooting, serious competitive handgun shooting sports, bullseye competitors shooting, action pistol shooting matches, and silhouette shooters.

The 5.6X52R (22 Savage High Power) is the European designation for the 22 Savage High Power, designed by Charles Newton for Arthur Savage's lever action in 1912. Based on the 25-35 case necked down, the 5.6X52R uses a heavy-for-caliber 71-grain .228-inch bullet at a modest 2790 fps. Unlike later .22-caliber centerfires the 5.6X52R was intended for deer-sized game and in its day was extremely controversial. Its rimmed case, however, is ideal for single-shot actions, and the European roe deer is much smaller than its American counterparts. The 22 Savage High-Power has been obsolete in America since before WWII, buts as the 5.6X52R it retains enough popularity in Europe that Norma continues to load it. — Craig Boddington

so happy to find this ammo in supply, pretty hard to find actually in stock, perfect for hunting shame the savage 99 is no longer in production but there are other rifles this will work for... worth the wait

I'm happy to find this uncommon 5.56x52R ammo here. I was going to buy additional ammo (hand gun, and riffle) as well but the prices are so high it really doesn't off set the bulk savings in shipping. For my regular ammo I'll be sticking to waiting on making local purchases.
