With stunning beauty in a near-custom rifle the Ultramark combines form and function in true Weatherby style. The Ultramark has a fully-enclosed bolt sleeve that completely enshrouds the rear of the action to redirect high pressure gases. Longitudinal flutes reduce weight and bearing surface area while minimizing binding for smooth action. Like all Mark Vs, the Ultramark cartridge casehead is surrounded by three rings of steel for an extra measure of strength and structural integrity. Other features include: a factory-tuned, fully-adjustable trigger, a hand-selected AAA fancy exhibition grade walnut stock with 20-LPI checkering, a direct striker intervention safety, a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, maplewood/ebony spacers, and a rosewood forend and grip cap.
