This unique scaling provides an enhanced experience to the idea of a rimfire 1911. A polymer frame and wooden grips provide user comfort without sacrificing durability, and the aluminum slide is ideally suited to the diminutive caliber. Other added benefits, such as a beavertail grip safety and ambidextrous thumb safeties, make this compact 1911 an ideal trail gun.

The 3.5" stainless steel barrel of the 1911-22 is target crowned and the composite frame is machined to exacting tolerances. Vertical serrations on the slide provide an improved cocking grip, and the manual slide release is easily operated with the shooting or support hand. It has a large manual thumb safety and grip safety. The 10-round steel magazine body is heat treated for long-term feeding reliability and long life with the magazine release positioned adjacent to the trigger guard for convenient operation.
