The Elite LS Hunter is a 10mm with a 6" Stainless match grade barrel and stainless steel frame and slide. HD extractor and adjustable machined aluminum trigger. It comes with a checkered front strap & mainspring housing (25 LPI), full length guide rod. It is equipped with an adjustable rear target sight and green fiber optic front sight. The Elite Hunter LS has a Beavertail grip safety and an ambidextrous thumb safety. The Elite LS Hunter has a black IonBond finish with VZ Alien G10 grips. This model also comes with two 9-round magazines.

The 10mm Automatic is a powerful semi auto cartridge. With the proper bullet in capable hands it is suitable for hunting medium size game at close range. Although it has been used on large dangerous game including Cape buffalo and the great bears it is not ideal for such game. The round is capable of pushing a 180 grain bullet to 1,300 FPS from a 5” barrel. This exceeds the power of a .357 magnum by a good margin and is closely on the heels of a .41 magnum. Bullets are .400” diameter and range from 125 grains to 220 grains. Once in service with the FBI, it is now considered excessive in recoil and stopping power for law enforcement use.
