The safety functions in the same manner as the original with one important difference: it swings in a 70-degree arc, making it much easier to apply the safety quickly. The Timney Low Profile Safety is machined of quality steel components on computer controlled milling machines and all wear surfaces are hardened to assure a lifetime of trouble-free operation.
