It features a CTS-XHP full-flat ground blade, a 465 stainless steel machined handle, refined Reeve Integral Lock, and wire clip configured for right-side tip-up carry



Meticulously machined from CTS XHP particle metallurgy steel, the Foundry’s broad clip-point blade features a full-flat grind for strength and superior edge geometry and a Trademark Round Hole for convenient one-handed operation. It is supported by a handle that is also crafted from premium Carpenter materials. The scales are machined from Custom465 Stainless and joined by a back spacer made of BioDur316LS Stainless. One of the scales proudly displays an expression of Carpenter’s iconic logo, while the opposite scale forms the foundation of the knife’s sturdy Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) mechanism, which locks the blade securely in the open position. To ensure that the Foundry is always accessible, it also features a wire pocket clip formed from Custom465 Stainless that supports right-side, tip-up carry.
