Vltor CASVM CASV AR-15 Handguard Mid Length 8" AR-15 Aluminum Black Originally developed for the US Navy E.O.D. (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Groups, the CASV handguard is a drop-on rail system for any AR-15 platform equipped with an M4 flat top receiver and fixed front sight post. It is made from aircraft-grade aluminum and adds less than 1 lb to overall firearm weight. It does nor require ant special installation tools since it "Piggy-Backs" onto the upper receiver. It uses a Delta Ring for solid assembly and is M203 barrel mounting compatible. It has a rigid, continuous rail section along the top, removable lower shield, and QD sling sockets on the right and left side.
