Trophy Bonded Bear Claw was the bullet of choice for Federal when it introduced its Premium line of ammunition. Jackets begin as solid rods of gilding material. A cavity is machined into one end to hold the core. A pure lead core is inserted, then heated to create a true fusion bond between core and jacket. The solid copper rear shank resists any deformation to ensure bullet integrity and incredibly high retained weights – in excess of 90%. This is not loaded ammunition.
