LWRC International decided there was not an aftermarket ambidextrous charging handle available that could stand up to the rigors of combat or high level competition so they built their own. This charging device is constructed from 7075 series aluminum and is type-3 hardcoat anodized. The moving parts are made from steel and have large bearing surfaces to reduce wear. This drop in replacement part weighs only 1.9 ounces
