Excel Accelerator Rifle MR-5.7 Rifle 5.7mmX28mm 18" Barrel 9+1 Rounds Synthetic Black with Scope

This Accelerator Rifle is 100-percent American-made and constructed from a high-strength corrosion-resistant 17-4 stainless steel. The fluted bull barrel has a diameter of .875 inches and an aluminum shroud that incorporates a weaver rail for mounting a variety of scopes, sights, and optics as well as the standard red dot sight system. Additional features include a manual safety as well as the firing pin block that ensures safe use, a round bolt hold-open feature that will alert the shooter of an empty magazine, a 3-9x40mm scope with rings, a nylon sling with detachable swivels, and a DOJ-approved cable lock.

The 5.7X28mm was introduced by FN in 1993, developed for a new concept called Personal Defense Weapon (PDW), intended to replace the pistol, submachinegun, and carbine for miliitary use. The concept is a compact, selective fire weapon intended for use within 200 meters, firing a light projectile for controllable recoil. The 5.7X28mm was designed for FN's P90 PDW. It uses a short bottlenecked case firing a 31-grain .224-inch bullet at 2325 fps. Performance exceeds military handgun cartridge, especially as range increases.
