Nosler 22 Nosler 77 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point Boat Tail Ammunition, 20 Rounds Per Box Md: 60016
The 22 Nosler was designed to transform any standard AR-15 into the fastest, most powerful .22 caliber available for the platform, with the least amount of modification.
Born from the idea of creating the most powerful .22 caliber centerfire cartridge that would readily function in the AR platform, the 22 Nosler’s case design takes advantage of the AR-15’s unparalleled modularity, making the conversion from a standard 223 Remington/ 5.56 NATO to the 22 Nosler simple, requiring only a swap of the upper to the new chambering and switching out to a 6.8 Rem SPC magazine.
This effortless two-step retrofit will allow shooters to experience the 22 Nosler’s lightning fast, hard-hitting performance, while still being able to use their existing 223 bolt carrier group. The 22 Nosler is a SAAMI standardized cartridge making for consistent brass and chamber dimensions industry wide.
Nosler Match Grade Ammunition is loaded using Nosler Custom Brass and meticulously weighed powder along with trusted Nosler Bullets. The brass goes through intense quality checks and is inspected for correct length, neck-sized, chamfered, trued, and the flash holes are checked for proper alignment. The resulting ammunition delivers extreme accuracy and consistency unlike many other factory loads.
Nosler Custom Competition bullets blend match winning accuracy and consistency with maximum value for performance-minded shooters. Highly concentric jackets, ultra precise lead alloy cores and hand inspected quality offer competitive shooters more, for less. The small meplat, provided by the hollow point, results in reduced drag and increased aerodynamic efficiency.

The information below comes from our Gun Caliber Dictionary and is for
general reference only. It does not describe the specifications of this
particular item.
Introduced in 2017, the 22 Nosler is the latest and newest of Nosler's five proprietary cartridges. The other four (26, 28, 30, and 33 Nosler) are based on the .404 Jeffery (or Remington Ultra Mag) case shortened, while the 22 Nosler has its own unique case dimension, sized to maximize .22 centerfire performance in an AR15 action. Case length is 1.760 inches, same as the .223, but the case is fatter with the rim rebated to fit standard .223/5.56mm bolt faces, with a sharper 30-degree shoulder. Case capacity is about 31 grains against the .223's 27.4 grains. This enables the 22 Nosler to achieve a significant velocity gain over the .223/5.556mm with any bullet weight. Nosler's initial loads include 55-grain bullet at 3350 fps; 62-grain bullet at 3100; and 77-grain bullet at 2950 fps, these velocities from 18-inch barrels. Like the other Nosler cartridges the 22 Nosler is standardized by SAAMI. The 22 Nosler will not function in .223 AR magazines, but will function in 6.8mm SPC magazines
