I own this very same model. It has the Novak sights (2 dot rear, one front) three dot alignment. My pistol was shooting a little right, elevation was OK. The rear sight can be moved, at your own risk. I used a brass center punch and plastic head hammer. It takes a few sharp taps to move the sight. I moved my rear sight to the right, a very little amount. If you look at the rear sight, there are marks on the sight and slide that line up from the factory, this is your baseline. So, even though the sights are fixed, you CAN move the rear. Remember, there is the possibility of scaring your slide or breaking your rear sight. I've heard that most Mil Specs are right on the money from the factory. The pistol has a match-grade barrel and a very good trigger, nice clean break. In my opinion, this 1911 A1 from Springfield is well worth the money.
