This tool serves as both an AR take-town (starter) tool to remove the pivot pin and as an assembly guide for installation of the front pivot spring and detent with the guide hole in the tip of the shank (when depressed, simply rotate the tool to secure). The tapered, ribbed handle provides an excellent grip when both forward and rearward pressure are applied. Constructed of glass-filled Nylon 6/6 for excellent strength and durability.
