What happens with conventional lead weights is that when fishing rocks it tends to take and change shape as it bends and scratches. With the new shape, it get's stuck in cracks and rock cavity's. Tungsten X also clicks and amplifies sound much better than conventional lead. One additional benefit of Tungsten X is the density (1.7 times more dense than lead) and weight of Tungsten allows anglers to achieve heavier weight in a smaller size compared to lead. Tungsten is also non-toxic.
