I have a Hammerli X-Esse .22 caliber pistol that I use for competitive shooting in bullseye. I tested Lapua, Aguila, Norma, Gemtech, Eley Club, Federal, and CCI Pistol Match ammunition to see which brand shoots best in my pistol. The CCI Pistol Match bested all the other brands and turned in the tightest groups. If you shoot in competition, you must learn, through trial and error, which brand of ammo you should use in a match. What shoots best in my pistol may not shoot that tight in yours. Find out which ammo gives you the best results. The CCI Pistol Match is a little more expensive than some of the brands, but I think the reliability and accuracy are worth it.
