This Midwest Industries AK Gen 2 scope side mount is designed to attach directly to your AK receiver via the rail on your AK. The mount features an Elite Defense QD system which doesn't require a tool to adjust. The mount is constructed from 6061 aluminum and is hard coat anodized. This particular Gen 2 mount is designed to be compatible with Aimpoint T1/T2 optics and optics which use a similar pattern footprint. However the top piece is modular and ca be switched to a different configuration in the future if desired.
