The classic design of the Senior has been proven through more than a hundred years of farmers and tradesmen using the stockman for tasks ranging from the mundane to the momentous. The three blades --spey, sheepsfoot, and clip point -- may seem outdated but remain as useful in the 21st century as they were in the 19th century.
Made from 7Cr17 high carbon stainless steel, the blades open up via a nail nick and perform just like they should.
One of the best aspects of classic knives is the fact that you can carry them out in the field and then to a black-tie event without thinking twice. That's thanks to the sawcut handles enclosed by nickel silver bolsters and held together with brass pins. It's a look that defies time and place.
