The X-Ring Semi Auto Rimfire Rifle from TacSol is a lightweight, completely customizable, high-quality precision engineered 10/22 style rifle. It features a stainless steel bolt with an extended charging handle run by a smooth as silk dual spring guide rod system. Anodized aluminum billet X-Ring receiver features an integral 15 MOA Picatinny rail and stainless steel V-Block to eliminate barrel droop and improve accuracy. It has an extended mag release lever and ambidextrous safety. The SB-X Aluminum Barrel is an innovative design that allows the use of a suppressor without adding to the overall length of the barrel. It features a 12.375" barrel with an integral permanently affixed suppressor shroud for an overall length of 16.625", so no SBR tax stamp is required. With a .920" barrel diameter that houses a button-rifled chromoly steel liner, accuracy is assured. The muzzle has a 1/2"-28TPI threaded end for a compensator or suppressor.

The 22 Long Rifle is the world's most popular cartridge, with annual production well into the billions of rounds. Developed in 1887 for blackpowder, it has been loaded with smokeless powder since the 1890s. The 22 Long Rifle is a rimfire cartridge using the .613-inch case developed for the 22 Long, but standard is a heavier 40-grain bullet at 1180 feet per second. .22 Long Rifle ammunition is widely manufactured and varies tremendously, from sub-sonic and match ammunition at lower velocities to lighter bullets at higher velocities, all the way to a 30-grain bullet at 1700 feet per second. With low report, almost no recoil, and superb accuracy the 22 Long Rifle has no equal for short-range target shooting, plinking, and training in both rifle and pistol; and with high velocity hollow-point ammunition is extremely effective for small game and pests out to perhaps 75 yards.
