First and foremost, they have GREAT pricing here for this kit. OUTSTANDING! THANKS! This is a fair review, shipping is too long, but with what is going on...I understand. They shouldn't hire based on this bubble, but I hope they are offering overtime to improve shipping times.... But the price makes up for the cost. If you are looking for a cheap pistol, this is NOT for you. If you want a good gun, know exactly what you want, want to make a custom gun, want a gun that YOU made, would want to buy a Glock but there are so many parts you would replace, want to do some different colors, or some combination of the above...this IS for you. If you want a cheap gun, go to your local pawn shop and look for "hi point", it won't get much cheaper than a used Hi Point. This kit has everything you need to get started, but remember, you will need a lower parts kit, a slide/barrel and upper parts kit, as well as magazines and sights. So figure out all the costs so you know what you are starting. I did this because I wanted unique colors, knew specific parts I wanted, wanted to do it myself, and this does it all. FDE is also the color you can most easily change, dye. They made a white version at one point, but not any longer...too bad. Look at youtube for videos on how to do this, its easier than the directions for some things. They don't include the big drill bit anymore, and I use snips and a round file to clear out that material anyway. Get aluminum take to protect parts you don't want to file, sand, or cut down as well. Take your time, double check and go SLOW. I won't say its easy, but it isn't hard, if you take your time. With this price, its tough to go wrong. So if you want to build your own custom Glock-like pistol....do it! You wont' find a better product, and I couldn't find a better price.
