Springfield 911 1911 Micro Compact 380 ACP 2.7" Barrel Alloy Frame Stainless Steel Finish 6Rd

I had to have one after reading all the hype. Cute and decently well made but I am not very impressed. These are touted for their trigger feel. Trigger bar is a single-sided "c" and does not feel quite like a 1911 with a balanced double sided bar. I suppose it is better feel than a striker, but not much and you don't get the carry safety aspects of a striker-fired gun. Accuracy potential is fine for combat with a lot of practice, but my Glock 42 and baby Browning 1911 380 group way better, and are easier to hit with too. After three FTC in the first few mags, the gun now runs flawlessly with all the factory ammo and hand loads I have tried. After the first shooting session I took it apart and cleaned, lubed/greased it. I have run about 200 rounds through it since. Recoil control is fine and racking effort is no problem. I might keep it since it is so small, has night sights and works ok in my relatively large hands. Just not so sure about carrying a pocket gun cocked and locked. I don't think this is a great combat arm for casual hand gunners but it is kind of entertaining for enthusiasts like me that like to play with 380's. It is challenging to shoot accurately.
