The Meadowlark 2 is the mid-sized folder in the Byrd lightweight folder line-up. The Meadowlark 2 is made with 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with high carbon content and vanadium to assure the cutting edge's retention and performance starts out bullish and stays strong. The blades have the backlock locking mechanism with David Boye Dent. This version has a non-reflective Carbonitride stainless steel handle and blade. Full-flat ground blade. The black, non-reflective Carbonitride coated stainless steel handles feature chamfered edges for a comfortable, ergonomic grip. The non-reflecive black is less noticeable and attractive as well.
