Ballistic Silvertip Hunting & Varmint Bullets have Polymer Silvertips which prevents deformation in the magazine. They are also coated with a lubalox coating which reduces fouling, pressure and friction between bullet and bore; provides longer barrel life, easier cleaning and enhanced accuracy. The ballistic silvertip hunting bullet is fully tapered jacket and special lead-alloy core which allows controlled expansion and optimum weight retention at all practical velocity levels. The heavy jacketed base prevents bullet deformation during firing. The heavy jacketed base acts as a platform for large diameter mushroom. The bullet is engineered with a boat tail configuration combined with the streamlined polymer tip for extreme long range performance and for easier loading. The Ballistic Silvertip Varmint Bullet contains a ultra-thin jacket mouth which assures violent expansion at either end of the velocity scale. The varmint jacket wall design provides the uniform, gradual thickening at the bullets mid-section to keep the bullet together until impact at any velocity.

Every bullet and every piece of brass is searched for imperfections to ensure that every piece meets Noslers strict quality standards. Products with physical imperfections and deformities are scrapped, while products with only cosmetic blemishes are labeled as 2nds.
