Introducing the Highlander .50 Beowulf® Pistol! This entry in the Highlander series is designed to combine the small lightweight package of an AR-Pistol and the extreme stopping power of the .50 Beowulf® round with the high quality you have come to expect from any Alexander Arms build.
This Pistol features a 12” barrel, 1:20 twist, 49/64-20RH threads, Mil Spec AR 15 Trigger, and the LiFe Finish. It comes standard with the Manticore Arms 9” Transformer handguard, SB Tactical SBA3 brace, Ergo Grip, and a Tactical Trigger of your choice (Giessele SSA or Alexander Arms Bow). The Upper and lower receivers, handguard, and stock are then Cerakoted in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) and it ships with one 7 round magazine.

50 Beowulf is a proprietary cartridge of Alexander Arms, introduced in 2001 to bring big-bore performance to the AR platform. The 1.65-inch case is similar to the 500 S&W, except the rim is sharply rebated to the same diameter as the 7.62X39mm cartridge. Bullet diameter is .500-inch, same as the 50 AE. Bullet weights range from 300 to 400 grains; a 400-grain bullet at 1800 fps yields over 2800 ft-lbs of energy, a very powerful cartridge in an AR15 frame. The 50 Beowulf offers a sound option for hunting larger game with an AR, and at moderate ranges is extremely effective on moose and bears.
