The X-Products AR-15 Side Charging Upper Receiver has a non-reciprocating side charger that improves where others have left off. Use of this receiver requires installation of a proprietary cam pin (included) in your existing bolt carrier group. This versatile upper will work with all popular calibers including 5.56, .300 Blackout and 9mm. It has M4 feed ramps and will work with all AR lower receivers and all M4 pattern forend systems. The right side of the receiver allows mounting of a small Picatinny rail for a small sight that allows the operator to shoot from a lowered position, reducing the operator's exposure. The complete upper less bolt carrier group includes the cam pin and side mount rail.
