The Extended Shell Holders are used in conjunction with the Redding Pistol Trim Dies to elevate the cases to the proper level for trimming or when the case does not exceed 1.5" Over All Length (OAL). The Extended Shell Holders are made from case hardened high quality steel to ensure precise measurements and durability. The edges have been chamfered to prevent snagging and all of the Extended Shell Holders have been machined to the exact same tolerances as the standard shell holders and they are just longer.
