The Performance Center M&P Shield Plus is extremely thin and lightweight which can be comfortably carried all day. It features the M&P's patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems all for disassembly without pulling the trigger. It utilizes a PC tuned action, enhanced grip texture, and an optics ready slide. Its flat face trigger is for consistent trigger finger placement which allows for more accurate and repeatable shooting. Enhanced grip texture allows the user to manage recoil, keep a firm grip and delivers comfort when concealing. The Shield Plus also features an optimal 18-degree grip angle for natural point of aim and Armornite durable corrosion resistant finish. This model includes one 13-round and one 10-round magazines.

The 9mm Luger (9X19mm, Parabellum, P08) was developed in Germany in 1902. Widely used in both world wars, it is the most popular pistol cartridge in the world, now widely used by innumerable law enforcement agencies and militaries (including our own) in both pistols and submachineguns. The controversy over its "stopping power" will never go away, but its attribute is that it is much easier to shoot accurately than larger cartridges with greater power...but more recoil. Advancements in bullet design for law enforcement and personal defense have narrowed the gap considerably. The 9mm Luger is a world standard, chambered by virtually all makers of semiautomatic pistols, with a myriad of factory loads.
