It positions the scope forward to give you plenty of eye relief, while it elevates the scope high enough for a comfortable head position and plenty of clearance for the objective bell.
Machined from a solid billet of 6061 T6 aluminum, our AR-15 Cantilever Scope Mount is lightweight, strong, and rigid. A pair of hardened steel 1/2" hex nuts provide tremendous locking force to ensure your mount - and the scope attached to it - stays in place. Remove the mount/scope unit from the rifle and reinstall it with little-to-no shift in the scope’s zero.
