Bergara Crest Carbon Bolt Action Rifle 6.5 PRC 20" Barrel (1)-3Rd Magazine Carbon Fiber With Carbon Spine Stock Sniper Grey Finish

The new B14² CREST is a high performance ultralight rifle designed for long distance hunting, and especially mountain hunting. Built on a lightweight and solid Monte Carlo carbon fiber stock, which is manufactured with the most innovative technology. It sets a new standard in carbon stocks, being the best choice for carbon rifles. We combined this new stock together with the Bergara B-14 action and our well-known barrels, resulting in a unique model that barely exceeds 3kg.

It is protected with Cerakote™ Sniper Grey to cope with unpredictable mountain weather conditions.

All B-14 rifles are capable of producing sub-1.0 MOA groups or less at 100 yards using factory match grade ammunition.

The information below comes from our Gun Caliber Dictionary and is for general reference only. It does not describe the specifications of this particular item.

The 6.5 Precision Rifle Cartridge (PRC) is one of the newest cartridges from a major manufacturer, introduced by Hornady in 2017. Based on Hornady's .375 Ruger/Ruger Compact Magnum unbelted case, the 6.5 PRC requires a .532-inch bolt face, same as standard belted magnums. With a 2.030-inch case it can be housed in short bolt actions, and case length allows use of long-for-caliber 6.5mm bullets. Obviously it trades on the success of the 6.5mm Creedmoor, and also on the renewed interest in the ranging abilities of the 6.5mm (.264-inch) bullet diameter. Interestingly, ballistics are similar to the old .264 Win Mag introduced back in 1958 with a 140-grain bullet at almost 3000 fps It is thus faster than the Creedmoor and .260 Rem, but much slower than new super-fast 6.5mms like the 26 Nosler and 6.5-300 Weatherby Mag With its modern case design it is seems almost certain to find favor with the growing number of long-range shooters!
