Sig Sauer P320 X-Series Semi-Automatic Pistol 10mm 5" Barrel (2)-15Rd Steel Magazines X-RAY3 Day/Night Sights Black Polymer Finish

The latest addition to the SIG P320 family brings all of the features of the XSeries into a carry style handgun in 10mm for shooters and hunters looking for performance to the power of 10. The P320-XTEN comes standard with a 5" bull barrel, Xray3 day/night sights, and an XSeries optic-ready slide with front and rear serrations. For those looking for even more precision, every P320-XTEN is optic ready and compatible with the SIG SAUER ROMEO2 reflex optic which is designed to withstand the abuse the 10mm cartridge delivers. To reduce the recoil, a completely redesigned XSeries polymer grip module provides a strong purchase and stippled finish and makes shooting comfortable for any type of round. Each P320-XTEN comes standard with two 15-rd magazines. The new SIG P320-XTEN takes performance to the power of 10.

The information below comes from our Gun Caliber Dictionary and is for general reference only. It does not describe the specifications of this particular item.

The 10mm Automatic is a powerful semi auto cartridge. With the proper bullet in capable hands it is suitable for hunting medium size game at close range. Although it has been used on large dangerous game including Cape buffalo and the great bears it is not ideal for such game. The round is capable of pushing a 180 grain bullet to 1,300 FPS from a 5” barrel. This exceeds the power of a .357 magnum by a good margin and is closely on the heels of a .41 magnum. Bullets are .400” diameter and range from 125 grains to 220 grains. Once in service with the FBI, it is now considered excessive in recoil and stopping power for law enforcement use. Hand guns and ammunition is available from most major manufactures. — Craig Boddington
