Some cartridges require longer barrels to realize their full ballistic capabilities, but not 300 Blackout. Outfitted with a 10.5 barrel, this DISSENT takes full advantage of almost any 300BLK loading you can think of while remaining ultra-compact and portable by eliminating the buffer system found on a conventional AR15. At the rear is a 1913 picatinny rail end plate allowing shooters to pick a folding pistol brace or stock* that suits their needs and style. Multiple Cerakote finishes ensures your DISSENT will always stand above the crowd. 300 BLK is an incredibly adaptable cartridge with different loadings for specific uses, like suppressed. With the adjustable gas block on each 300 BLK DISSENT you can fine tune the gas system to best suit the supersonic or subsonic ammo loadings you like best. TriggerTechs AR-D trigger was developed in collaboration with CMMG to be fully optimized for use with DISSENT firearms and upper receiver groups. With a 4 lb pull weight, the AR-D trigger showcases a light, repeatable break. CMMG does not guarantee optimal DISSENT functionality with Mil-spec or other aftermarket triggers.

Caliber Dictionary
The Below Information Has Been Provided From Our Gun Caliber Dictionary And Is Meant For Informational Purposes Only. It Is Not Intended to Describe The Unique Specifications For This Ammunition.
The 300 AAC Blackout (300 BLK) was developed in 2009/2010 by Advanced Armament Corporation and approved by Sporting Arms and Ammunition Institute (SAAMI) in 2011. Based on the 223 Remington case necked up to 30-caliber, it was intended for the M4 Carbine and designed to function in standard AR15/M16 magazines. Thus converting an AR to 300 AAC Blackout requires nothing more than an upper receiver group. Dimensionally it is identical to the 300 Whisper, but the 300 Blackout is fully standardized. Supersonic and subsonic ammunition is manufactured, with a 125-grain bullet producing 2215 feet per second, while the subsonic load uses a heavier bullet at much lower velocity: 220-grain bullet at 1080 fps. Military applications are obvious; as a sporting cartridge performance is similar to the 7.62x39. — Craig Boddington
