The optic plate features a tall height, which raises the Holosun 509T above the main optic on your firearm, allowing for a lower 1/3 co-witness with the primary sight. This co-witness setup ensures that you can use your iron sights through the lower portion of the reflex sight, providing redundancy and quick target acquisition in case of optic failure.
The optic plate is finished with an anodized black coating, enhancing its durability and providing a stealthy appearance. Anodizing is a standard finishing process used on firearm accessories to increase their resistance to wear, scratches, and corrosion.
