The Contractor 640 3-12x50mm is a weapon-mounted thermal sight designed to stand up to the rigors of real world use. It utilizes a durable alloy metal body and a MIL-SPEC construction, allowing it to easily withstand adverse conditions, harsh weather, and heavy recoil up to .50 caliber. The heart of the Contractor 640 is the exclusive ArmaCORE 12 Micron Sensor, which can detect a man-sized heat signature at up to 932 meters away. These heat signatures are projected onto a high-definition XGA 1024x768 AMOLED display, and are viewable in 5 different color palettes white hot, black hot, target, rainbow, and sepia allowing the user to adapt the Contractor 640 to their specific preferences or to different environments.
Other features of the Contractor 640 include digital compass, inclinometer that help calculate distance, direction and angles for greater accuracy at extended ranges. In addition, the Contractor 640 features onboard photo and video recording. Images and videos can then be transferred to a compactible device via WiFi, Bluetooth, or USB-C connection.
