The Vortek StrikerFire, break-action, black powder rifle, which has a tradition of excellence, is now available as the StrikerFire 1:20" VAPR. Featuring a 28" VAPR ultralight chromoly tapered and fluted barrel, with a 1:20" twist rate, a TAC2 Trigger System, Accelerator breech plug, Dual Safety System, and Speed Load System the Vortek StrikerFire VAPR is capable of extending your black powder hunting range out to 200 plus yards. The Traditions 3-9 x 40mm scope gives you the reach you need for longer range hunting. Access to the breech plug is achieved by breaking open the action, which automatically de-cocks the gun. Once you have loaded your powder charge and projectile, access the breech plug and insert a 209 primer for ignition. The Vortek StrikerFire comes equipped with the StrikerFire System. To cock the gun, simply slide the striker button forward until it locks and the rifle is cocked. The recessed de-cocking buttons allows for quick and quiet de-cocking of the firearm. Hogue Comfort-Grip Overmolding provides for excellent handling and comfort and control. Mossy Oak Break Up Country camouflage on the stock and a premium Cerakote finish on the barrel and receiver, give the Vortek StrikerFire VAPR a subdued appearance that will help you blend into the background for a successful hunt.
