CMMG Dissent MK4 Semi-Automatic Pistol 300 Blackout 6.5" Barrel (1)-30Rd Magazine CMMG Zeroed Grip Black Cerakote Finish

The CMMG DISSENT is an AR Personal Defense Weapon like no other. Incorporating a variety of new features and technologies, each DISSENT is made to maximize portability and modularity, most notably thanks to CMMGs patent-pending Compact Action that houses the entire recoil system in the upper receiver, eliminating the need for the buffer tube altogether.Chambered in 300 BLK, this DISSENT packs .30 cal power in an ultra-compact package that offers AR15 ambi controls and our forward non-reciprocating side charger that can be switched for left or right-handed operation. At the rear of the lower receiver is a 1913 picatinny rail section for attaching the brace or stock* that fits you best. Each DISSENT is available in a variety of custom Cerakote finishes to match your style.

The information below comes from our Gun Caliber Dictionary and is for general reference only. It does not describe the specifications of this particular item.

The 300 AAC Blackout (300 BLK) was developed in 2009/2010 by Advanced Armament Corporation and approved by Sporting Arms and Ammunition Institute (SAAMI) in 2011. Based on the 223 Remington case necked up to 30-caliber, it was intended for the M4 Carbine and designed to function in standard AR15/M16 magazines. Thus converting an AR to 300 AAC Blackout requires nothing more than an upper receiver group. Dimensionally it is identical to the 300 Whisper, but the 300 Blackout is fully standardized. Supersonic and subsonic ammunition is manufactured, with a 125-grain bullet producing 2215 feet per second, while the subsonic load uses a heavier bullet at much lower velocity: 220-grain bullet at 1080 fps. Military applications are obvious; as a sporting cartridge performance is similar to the 7.62x39. — Craig Boddington
