The TCM Rock Standard MS HC is constructed of 4140 Ordnance steel and refined by a carefully managed hand fitting process. It's built to drive the factory original Rock Island 22 TCM cartridge at over 1850fps and features a 4.25" barrel with penetrating impact and unprecedented light recoil. Add a double stack mag well with 17-round capacity and the TCM MS Rock Standard earns respect for delivering a constant high velocity payload. Includes skeletonized hammer, trigger with adjustable over travel stop, and low profile anti-snag front and rear sights. This pistol is fitted with checkered polymer grips and finished with a durable Armor Lube PECVD coating.

The 22 TCM is an Armscor proprietary 22 centerfire intended for use in handguns and carbines. Designed by Fred Craig, it was originally called (and publicized as) the 22 Micromag, but became the 22 TCM when adopted by Armscor. TCM stands for Tuason (Armscor president), Craig, and Micromag. It is based on a 222 Remington case shortened to 1.022-inch and necked to 22 caliber. Its original platform was a 1911 with double-stack magazine; the pistol was supplied with a barrel and recoil spring in 9mm Luger, and the magazine accepted both cartridges. Using a 40-grain bullet, handgun velocities run about 2000 feet per second, while the same load generates 2800 fps in a carbine-length barrel. In a rifle the 22 TCM thus exceeds the 22 Hornet, and in a handgun greatly exceeds the 22 Magnum. — Craig Boddington
