With an 8" barrel the Mk10 BANSHEE is built to extract the full ballistic performance expected of the 10mm cartridge. Glock-pattern magazines have come to be known for their reliability and affordability and if you already have your own collection of 10mm Glock-pattern magazines going then they will be right at home with the Mk10. From the quick deploying RIPBRACE, to the stylized receivers and EML handguards, every BANSHEE is tailor-made to be the personal defense weapon you can always depend on. With full length M-LOK slots on both sides and the bottom of the handguard as well as M-LOK between the top picatinny rail sections. Radial Delayed Blowback Operating System originally developed for the .45 ACP MkG platform, CMMG has adapted our Radial Delayed Blowback system across our pistol caliber lineup to create pistols and rifles with a softer recoil impulse and reduced bolt weight compared to traditional straight blowback systems.

The information below comes from our Gun Caliber Dictionary and is for general reference only. It does not describe the specifications of this particular item.

The 10mm Automatic is a powerful semi auto cartridge. With the proper bullet in capable hands it is suitable for hunting medium size game at close range. Although it has been used on large dangerous game including Cape buffalo and the great bears it is not ideal for such game. The round is capable of pushing a 180 grain bullet to 1,300 FPS from a 5” barrel. This exceeds the power of a .357 magnum by a good margin and is closely on the heels of a .41 magnum. Bullets are .400” diameter and range from 125 grains to 220 grains. Once in service with the FBI, it is now considered excessive in recoil and stopping power for law enforcement use. Hand guns and ammunition is available from most major manufactures. — Craig Boddington
