It is a 60mm striker fired light weight PARA mortar.
The striker fire and safety are fully functional.
Developed in 1942, the MO 60 Brandt 60mm mortar was a lightweight PARA portable mortar, used as a standalone mortar thats just shoved on the ground and fired (very similar to the UK WW2 para mortars). This is a rare find and comes with leather jacket and sling.
The cup has a light tack weld on to the barrel as part of the ATF de-mill process but the striker and safety or fully functional.
The barrel has a torch cut hole to comply with ATF de-mill process.
This mortar would be perfect for re-activation with a ATF From-1. The light weld on the cup can be easily ground off. The tube could be sleeved or replaced. All ATF rules apply.
