The Mossberg 835 is the ultimate in 12 gauge performance. From long range waterfowl to close encounters with turkeys the 835 covers all the bases. All 835's feature over-bored barrels to achieve near 10 gauge performance out of the 3 1/2" 12 gauge. Affordable, powerful and infinitely more versatile, this is truly the waterfowl and turkey hunting shotgun of the 21st century.



Features : Unmatched versatility, from 2 3/4" field loads to the heavy hitting 3 1/2" waterfowl and turkey loads, this gun allows you to adapt to any hunting situation. Mossberg has designed the 835 around the demands of the heavy 3 1/2" loads, unlike the competition who simply modified their existing 2 3/4" and 3" guns. The bolt, receiver and barrel are specifically sized for longer shells and heavier loads. All barrels are over-bored to 10 gauge dimensions to allow for a long gradual choke effect, which reduces felt recoil and creates a superior pattern. This unique feature dramatically reduces shot deformation and the over-constriction commonly found in other 3 1/2 " models. In addition to the performance enhancing over-bored barrels, strategic placement of 8 ports on each side of the barrel direct gasses upward and away from the shooter to reduce recoil and to minimize muzzle jump.
