The Alaska bullet is a tried and true, semi round nose, traditional soft point bullet with a gilding metal jacket. It is best suited for moderate to low velocity calibers for slow and even expansion. The 6.5mm Alaska bullet, often used in slightly higher velocity areas, is equipped with an extra lead lock.
