I have been using Hornady V-Max bullets in all my Varmint rifles for the last 5 years all work perfect , top accuracy and very explosive on P-Dogs. I just return from a P-Dog shoot in WY where I used this bullet in my CZ 527 Micro Mauser Varmint rifle. I get 1/4" MOA groups using CFE 223 loaded 4050 FPS. My first 10 shots hit 8 P-Dogs. I toured the Hornady factory in Grand Island NE on the way home and watched them make and test these bullets. Outstanding quality control including test firing every lot for accuracy. I have been hand loading for 47 years and used all the major brands. As far as varmint bullets go you can't beat Hornady V-Max.
