The "Encore" is Mantis' most inspired karambit. The two previous generations of the MK-3 pushed the envelope in regards to what is possible in a folding karambit design, but the "Encore" has re-invented the envelope completely.
With the Mantis Spike-Spine, the blade can be ejected effortlessly as the knife is removed from a pocket. With an advancement in materials used in the spacer of the handle, the encore boasts unbelievable strength and stiffness in a featherweight package.
